Parking

All parking is free in the parking lot in front of the building entrance and Shirlington Garage. Additional parking available in the Campbell Avenue WETA Garage and Quincy Garage.

Shirlington Garage is the closest parking. The ground level can be accessed from S Arlington Mill drive parking outdoor parking area. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors are accessible from S Quincy St.

Bus routes

The academy is a 2 minute walk from the Arlington Mill Dr / Randolph St bus stop and 4 minute walk from the Shirlington Transit Center / Bus Bay D bus stop.

Kogaion Academy is located in The Village at Shirlington, a hub for food and the arts. Grab a smoothie from Robek’s Fresh Juices and Smoothies (Victor’s favorite is the Muscle Max) after training, or some amazing Thai food from THAI Shirlington (we get the Chicken Pad Thai every week) after open mat. We’re just 300 feet away from DC’s famous Busboys and Poets restaurant and bookstore (amazing sweet potato fries), and right across the street from the bustling Best Bun’s Bakery (we love their Irish Soda Bread), Guapo’s Mexican Restaurant (ceviche for life), and Chiko’s Chinese Korean Kitchen (Bulgogi Tots to die for)!
